My Pick
I’m taking Journalism at odds of 9/5. He’s won 6 of his last 8 races with the only two losses coming in the Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes, both to Sovereignty. Journalism also ran in the Preakness, winning the race, so he wasn’t fresh in his rematch with Sovereignty at the Belmont Stakes. I think Journalism will be his fastest yet after taking another five weeks off following his win at the Haskell Stakes. This horse was a favorite going into the Derby for a reason, and I still think he has the ability to win against the fastest horses in the world.
