Super Bowl Betting in North Dakota and South Dakota

There is retail sports betting in both South Dakota and North Dakota, but it is limited to only a select few tribal casinos. South Dakota has had legalized sports betting since September, 2021 and there are currently four tribal casinos taking bets in the city of Deadwood. North Dakota followed suit and there has been legalized sports betting offered in the state since December 2021, but all betting must take place at one of the three tribal casinos in the state.

Overall, although sports betting is legal in both South Dakota and North Dakota it is very limited, with you having to place bets on location at one of a handful of tribal casinos in either state.

That said, if you live in South Dakota or North Dakota you do still have the option of betting on the Super Bowl online from the comfort of your own home, you just have to place your bets with an online betting site that accepts US players and is licensed/regulated outside of the United States. falls into this category by being licensed and regulated in Panama, while accepting US players from the majority of States, including North Dakota and South Dakota.

Super Bowl 57 Odds

Let’s look at the odds for the three most popular bets you can make on Super Bowl 57 (odds taken on February 8th).

The Philadelphia Eagles are 1.5 point favorites against the spread (-1.5). This means the Eagles must win by 2 or more points for spread bets on Philly to win. The Chiefs are 1.5 point underdogs (+1.5) so spread bets on the Chiefs would win if they either win the game outright or lose by 1 point.

Betting on the winner of the game is also known as money line betting. The odds associated with each team determine your risk and reward. The Eagles are -120 favorites, so you would have to bet $120 to win $100 betting the Eagles money line. The Chiefs have odds of +100, so risking $100 would win $100 if the Chiefs win the game.

The total for the game is set at 51 points. If 52 or more points are scored by both teams in the game, then over bets would win. If 50 or fewer points are scored in the game then under bets would win. If exactly 51 points are scored the total bets would push and be refunded.

The odds could change leading up to the game on Super Bowl Sunday. To see the current odds go to and select ‘Super Bowl’ from the Trending Competitions section in the left sidebar to see these odds and more.

There are also a huge selection of prop betting lines available at Bovada.
