The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup is taking place in Japan, Philippines, and Indonesia from August 25th to September 10th.
The second round group stage is beginning on September 1st. The United States won their three first round group stage games, and begin the second group stage atop Group J that includes Lithuania, Montenegro, and Greece.

- Spread – In the above example, Australia is a -9.5 point favourite to win the game. Spread bets on Australia would win if they win the game by 10 or more points. Spread bets (+9.5) on Finland would win if they win the game outright or lose by 9 or fewer points.
- Win – A bet on which team will win the game, with the odds determining the risk vs reward of the bet. Australia is a -500 favorite, which means you would have to risk $500 to win $100 betting on Australia. Finland is a +355 underdog, so a $100 bet on Finland would win $355 (payout $455) if they pulled off the upset.
- Total – A bet on the total number of points to be scored in the game by both teams. The total in the above example is set at 168 points. Over bets would win if 169+ points are scored and under bets would win if 167 or fewer points are scored. If exactly 168 points are scored the total bets would push and be refunded.
