The 2026 Oscars will take place this Sunday, March 15th at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The award show will be hosted by Conan O’Brien for the second consecutive year and will be televised on ABC starting at 7pm ET.
The Oscars, officially referred to as the Academy Awards, are the most prestigious award show for film and the award show is popular among bettors. For this reason I wanted to add this page to help Texas residents understand how to place their Oscars bets online.

One Battle After Another is a significant favorite to win Best Picture according to the odds (-400). That said, it would be a surprise if One Battle After Another didn’t bring home the biggest award of the evening.
Best Actor
The Best Actor category had Timothee Chalalmet (Marty Supreme) as a significant -550 favorite a month ago, but Michael B. Jordan winning the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor award at the Actor Awards earlier this month, has resulted in a shake up of the odds with Michael B. Jordan (-190) now the favorite over Chalamet (+160) to win the Best Actor award. This award will be one everyone has their eyes on this Sunday night.
Best Director
The Best Director award looks likely to go to Paul Thomas Anderson (One Battle After Another), while Ryan Coogler (Sinners) is his main competition.
