UFC fights are very popular to bet on in the United States. There’s something about the anticipation for big fights and the differing opinions of fans that makes UFC betting very exciting for bettors.

Where To Bet
Massachusetts has had legal online sports betting since March 2023. Connecticut has had legal online sports betting since October 2021. Where it is legal, you generally must be 21 or older and physically located in the state to place a bet.

Sports Betting in Massachusetts and Connecticut
There is currently regulated sports betting in both Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Connecticut launched online regulated retail sports betting in October of 2021. There are currently three regulated online sportsbooks operating within the state. One sportsbook brand partnered with the Mashantucket Pequot tribe who operate the Foxwoods Resort and Casino, another partnered with the Mohegan Tribe who operate the Mohegan Sun Casino, and a third sportsbook brand partnered with the state lottery. It is expected that these will be the three regulated betting options for Connecticut residents for the foreseeable future.
Massachusetts legalized sports betting in 2022 and regulated online sportsbooks launched in the state on March 10th, 2023. Retail sports betting at land-based casinos began on January 31st, 2023. UFC Bet Types
The majority of action on UFC fights is simply bet on who will win.
Here’s an example of the money line (to win) odds for a Jack Della Maddelena vs Islam Makhachev title fight.
In this example, Islam Makhachev is the favorite with odds of -250. This means you would have to risk $250 betting on Makhachev to win $100 (payout of $350). Della Maddelena has odds of +210 , so a $100 bet on Della Maddelena win $210 (payout of $310).
Here are some other bets you can make on the UFC fights:
- Total Rounds – Over/under bet on the number of rounds in the fight. **The over/under for the above fight is set at 3.5 rounds.
- Method of Victory – Bet on the fight winner + how they win (knockout, submission, decision, etc).
- Round Betting – Bet on the fight winner + which round they win the fight in.
- Will fight go the distance? – Bet on if the fight will go to decision or not.
