Bet On Super Bowl 57 Props – Fun Novelty Prop Bets With Picks

The most fun you can have betting on the Super Bowl is getting action on some of the wild and wacky prop bets that online sportsbooks offer for the big game.  You can find props for anything from the length of the national anthem, to the color of the winning teams gatorade shower and everything in between.  These types of prop bets really add to the excitement of the Super Bowl and make for some very interesting viewing.

In this article I will outline a few examples of the common prop bets you can place on the game and then also get into the fun, wacky, novelty props on offer at the end.  I will also provide you with a very basic 3 step guide to getting your bets in on these props online in time for Super Bowl 57.

All of the props I’m looking at below are taken from BetOnline.ag. The odds were taken on February 9th.

Super Bowl Prop Bets – Game Focused

Super Bowl 57 MVP

If the Eagles win the Super Bowl, it is expected that Jalen Hurts will likely win the MVP Award. If the Chiefs win then it’s most likely that Patrick Mahomes receives the honor. That said, a few big plays from one of the other players on either team and the MVP could be given to someone other than the winning teams quarterback. I think Isaiah Pacheco at +5000 is an interesting play. If Pacheco is able to have a big game with multiple touchdowns en route to a Chiefs upset victory, then I think he could get the nod.

First Offensive Play of the Game

  • Rush -140
  • Pass +110

This is a popular prop bet that you will often see on Super Bowl Props sheets. What offensive play will get the Super Bowl underway.

Super Bowl Prop Bets – Fun Novelty Props

Ok, that’s enough of the normal football related prop bets.  To see a full list head over to BetOnline.ag.  There is an absolutely monster selection of Super Bowl prop bets where you can basically bet on any statistic from the game.

Here are some of my favorite novelty props for the game (odds for all props from BetOnline.ag on February 9th):

Time To Sing National Anthem

  • Over 125 seconds -120
  • Under 125 seconds -120

Chris Stapleton is singing the National Anthem this year. It will the second year in a row that the Anthem is sung by a country singer, with Mickey Guyton singing the anthem last year. Guyton sang the anthem in 115 seconds last year, which was actually 20 seconds above the 95 second total that was available at sportsbooks. The previous year the duo of Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church had a rendition that lasted two minutes and 17 seconds (137 seconds). I think the biggest comparable for Chris Stapleton would be when Luke Bryan sang the anthem for Super Bowl 51. Bryan’s rendition lasted 2 minutes and 4 seconds. I think the total is pretty spot on this year, but I would lean the under.

Who will the MVP Refer to 1st

  • Teammates -150
  • God/Religion +150
  • City/Fans +1000
  • Family +1600
  • Coaches +2800
  • Team Owner +4000

This is always a popular prop as well, and you can usually get some insight based on which players are most likely to win the award. I think teammates is the most likely reference regardless of who wins the Super Bowl this year, so I think the odds accurately reflect that likelihood.

First song sang by Rihanna for her half-time show?

  • Diamonds +250
  • This Is What I Came For +400
  • Where Have You Been +450
  • Don’t Stop The Music +500
  • Stay +750
  • Rude Boy +1000
  • Umbrella +1000
  • We Found Love +1200
  • What’s My Name +1200
  • Only Girl (In The World) +1800
  • Work +2500
  • Hate That I Love You +4000

Rihanna has a huge catalogue of hits to choose from when deciding which song to open her half-time show with.

BetOnline.ag also has several other half-time related betting lines including the last song sang on stage, Rihanna’s appearance props (dress/shirt color, eye shadow color, lipstick color, hair color, sunglasses worn, necklace worn, etc.), and whether other artists will make an appearance (Jay Z, Drake, Eminem, etc.).

What color will the liquid be that is poured on the winning coach?

  • Blue +150
  • Yellow/Green/Lime +165
  • Orange +350
  • Clear/Water +900
  • Red/Pink +1800
  • Purple +1800

This is a very popular Super Bowl prop.  I always go with water on this prop because if the players have any decency they won’t get their coach all sticky for the trophy ceremony. Last year the liquid was blue for the Rams victory, which made Blue the gatorade color of choice in three of the past four Super Bowls. I’m sticking with clear at odds of 9-1.

What will Joe Biden say first during pregame interview?

  • Jobs +125
  • Super Bowl +150
  • Ukraine +400
  • Build Back Better +425
  • Diversity +500

Joe Biden is expected to have a pregame interview on the broadcast. There are several prop betting lines available for the interview including other “say first” props (Scranton vs Philadelphia, Hurts vs Mahomes), length of interview, and approval rating.

Which celebrity will be shown first on the broadcast?

  • Ryan Reynolds +125
  • Will Ferrell +250
  • Matt Damon +250
  • Mark Wahlberg

BetOnline.ag has several of these “seen first” prop betting lines including notable Chiefs fan (Jason Sudeikis, Paul Rudd, Robb Riggle) and notable Eagles fan (Bradley Cooper, Ryan McElhenney, Kevin Hart).

As you can see the prop bets can get pretty outrageous.  There are several other Rihanna, Chris Stapleton, Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, broadcast and game props that you can bet on as well.  Check out BetOnline.ag for the full list.
