Bet On The 2022 NCAA Final Four – Odds and Picks

And then there were four. The 2022 Final Four match-ups are set. Kansas is the only remaining #1 seed, while Duke and Villanova are both #2 seeds and North Carolina is the somewhat cinderella story advancing to the Final Four as a #8 seed. Kansas will face Villanova in the first Final Four game, and Duke will face North Carolina in an ACC rivalry match-up in the second.

On this page I will give you my betting picks for both 2022 Final Four games and then finish up by outlining a 3 step guide you can follow to quickly get your Final Four bets placed online.

Kansas #1 vs Villanova #2

  • Kansas -4.5 (-108)
  • Villanova +4.5 (-112)
  • Kansas -195
  • Villanova +170
  • Over/Under 133

Villanova’s defense has carried them to the Final Four. Keeping Houston to just 44 points in the Elite Eight was a huge achievement and shows how organized this team is defensively. Villanova has a knack for pulling out tightly contested games. That said, I still think Kansas will be too much for the Wildcats to shut down.

Kansas looked terrific defeating Miami 76-50 in their Elite Eight game. The ACC proved that the Conference was underrated in terms of seeding for the tournament, so the win over Miami proved to me that Kansas was for real. Kansas has now won 9 games in a row dating back to the Big 12 regular season, and they have scored 66+ points in each of these games. I don’t see Villanova holding the Jayhawks to less than 65 points, and that should be enough for Kansas to get the win.

Play: Kansas -4.5

Duke #2 vs North Carolina #8

  • Duke -4.5 (-110)
  • North Carolina +4.5 (-110)
  • Duke -205
  • North Carolina +175
  • Over/Under 150.5

Duke failed to get the win for Coach K on Seniors Night (losing to North Carolina) or in the ACC Tournament Finals (losing to Virginia Tech), but they were able to get across the line with a big win over Arkansas in their Elite Eight match-up to get Coach K back to the Final Four. That’s a big achievement for this team and I think it will be a significant burden off the players backs, especially after failing in those two previous “send-off” games.

As I mentioned above, North Carolina defeated Duke 94-81 on the road late in their final meeting of the season. UNC’s only loss in their last 11 games was to eventual champion Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament. North Carolina definitely should not have been a #8 seed, and as I mentioned above all ACC teams overachieved in the tournament relative to their seedings.

I think this Duke vs North Carolina match-up should really be a pick’em. Yes, Duke is the higher seed and they have looked good in the tournament, but I would argue North Carolina has looked better. UNC destroyed #9 seed Marquette in the opening round 95-63, defeated #1 seed Baylor in round 2 and highly touted #4 seeded UCLA in the Sweet Sixteen, before leaving no doubt against Saint Peter’s, defeating the Cinderella story team by 20 points.

I like North Carolina to get the win on Saturday, but I’ll take the points.

Play: North Carolina +4.5
