Going into last season, the Cubs were favored to win the World Series after an impressive run in the postseason the previous year. Despite the pressure, the team finished with the best record in baseball and overcame a 3-1 deficit to the Cleveland Indians to win the championship.
According to the odds makers, the Cubs are once again favored to win the World Series, the only question on the mind of their fans now is can they overcome their offseason losses to put together another championship run.
