The 2025 Belmont Stakes will take place this Saturday, June 7th at Saratoga Race Course in New York. The race will move to Saratoga for the second consecutive year due to ongoing renovations at Belmont Park. The change of venue will result in the race distance changing from the traditional 1.5 miles typical of a Belmont Stakes, to 1.25 miles this year at Saratoga.
There will be no Triple Crown winner at this years Triple Crown. Sovereignty, the Kentucky Derby winner, did not run in the Preakness Stakes, which was won by Derby runner-up, Journalism. That said, the Belmont Stakes is still one of the biggest races of the year and I expect plenty of betting action on race day.
The 2025 Belmont Stakes will be broadcast from 4-7:30pm EST on FOX. The post time for the race is 7:04pm.
