The NBA All-Star weekend is always a great, entertaining event, and it’s actually the only “All-Star” event of the big sports leagues that I think is must-watch TV.
This year all of the traditional All-Star events are back after last years condensed version of the festivities. All Star Weekend begins in Salt Lake City on Friday evening with the Celebrity Game (7pm EST on ESPN) and Jordan Rising Stars Tournament (9pm EST on TNT). All-Star Saturday Night begins at 8pm EST with the Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest broadcast on TNT. On Sunday, the G League Next Up Game begins at 3pm EST (NBA TV) and the 72nd NBA All-Star Game is scheduled for 8:30pm EST on TNT with the All-Star Draft taking place directly before the game beginning at 7:30pm EST. Here’s a full schedule of the events.
On this page I will look at our top rated betting site for Americans looking to bet on the All-Star game events, look at some of the bets you can make and finally outline 3 steps you can follow to get your bets placed on the All-Star festivities from anywhere in the USA.

That said, for the remainder of this guide I will be using BetOnline.ag for my examples.
NBA All-Star 2023 Betting Options
There are plenty of bets you can make on the 2023 NBA All-Star festivities. You can bet on each skills competition, the All-Star game MVP, the top pick in the All-Star Game Draft and whether Team Giannis or Team Lebron gets the W.
Let’s look at a few examples:
NBA All-Star Game Betting Lines
This year the All-Star teams will be drafted directly before the game on Sunday night. The odds above are from the morning of the All-Star game, so all we know is that Giannis and Lebron are the two captains.
Team LeBron is a 2.5 point favorite and has odds of -142 to win the game. This is even before the rosters are drafted. The over/under for the game is set at 325.5 points.
3-Point Contest Winner
Damian Lillard won the Three Point contest on All-Star Saturday Night.
Damian Lillard is the favorite, while past winner Buddy Hield is his main competition according to the odds. That said, I think the value is on the longer odds of Tyler Herro (+700) or Julius Randle (+750). Any of these guys can win if they find the rhythm in competition. I’d rather have a bigger return if my player gets hot.
Dunk Contest Winner
Mac McClung won the Dunk Contest on All-Star Saturday Night.
Mac McClung is a huge favorite at BetOnline.ag. McClung is known for his flash and dunking ability as a 6 foot 2 inch guard. He’s the least established NBA player of the four competitors, and he’s in the competition because he’s known for his impressive dunking ability. All of that said, I still think these other guys are top end athletes who will have prepared some impressive dunks for the event.
You can find all of the above odds, and more All-Star weekend bets on the BetOnline.ag website by opening the ‘Basketball’ drop down menu and selecting ‘NBA’ for the game odds or ‘NBA All-Star’ for the props.
