The 2022 Preakness Stakes will take place this Saturday, May 21st at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland.
Rich Strike won the Kentucky Derby at the beginning of May, but he will not be participating in the Preakness Stakes, forgoing his shot at a Triple Crown in order to focus on the Belmont Stakes next month. Epicenter, who finished second at the Derby, will be the favorite for the Preakness. The Preakness Stakes will be broadcast on NBC from 3-6:30pm CT on Saturday. The post time for the race is approximately 6:01pm CT.
On this page I will outline our top rated betting site for Illinois residents, look at the Preakness odds, and outline a simple 3 step guide you can follow to get your Preakness Stakes bets placed online.

Preakness Stakes Odds
Here are the odds for the Preakness Stakes from Sunday, May 17th. These are the fixed odds from the sportsbook. I think they are more accurate than the morning line odds you will currently see in the Racebook.
You can find these odds on BetOnline.ag by selecting ‘Sports’ -> Opening the ‘Horse Racing’ drop down menu -> selecting ‘Horses Daily’ -> ‘Pimlico’.

You can also bet on the Preakness Stakes race at any racetracks in Illinois or any Off-Track betting locations in the state. Arlington Park is a great track that offers simulcast betting.
Of course, if you can’t make it to a betting location you can place your wagers online at BetOnline.ag.

The odds in the Racebook use the parimutuel betting system, so the odds you see may not be the final odds. The odds will change leading up to the race depending on the amount of money wagered on each horse.
**You can also bet on the race winner through the ‘Sports’ section of the BetOnline website. Open the ‘Horse Racing’ drop down menu and select ‘Horse Futures’ to find the Preakness Stakes odds.
