The 49ers are 2 point favorites at Bovada, which means they must win by 3 or more to cover the spread. If the Chiefs win the game outright or lose by a single point then spread bets on the Chiefs would win. If the 49ers win by exactly 2 points then spread bets would push and be returned.
To Win
The money line odds have the 49ers as -123 favorites, which means a $123 bet on San Francisco to win the game would win $100 (pays $223).
The Chiefs odds to win the game are +113, so a $100 bet on the Chiefs wins $113 (pays $213).
Total
The total is set at 47.5 for the Super Bowl. If you think 48 or more points will be scored by both teams (combined) you should bet the over, and if you think 47 or fewer points will be scored you should bet the under.
