Bovada and BetOnline are our top two rated betting site for Americans looking to bet on the UFC online. These are the two most popular sportsbooks across the United States, and both sites accept players from Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.

For the remainder of this guide I will be using as our top recommended site.

Sports Betting in Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri

It’s not currently legal to operate a sportsbook in any of the States listed above.

Kansas had a proposed law related to sports gambling introduced in January of 2018, but no action was taken. A new sports betting bill was introduced in January 2019, but no progress has been made with that one either.

Oklahoma introduced a bill to include “sports pools”, which would involve all bets placed on an event being placed into a common pool and prizes being paid out based on percentages, similar to parimutuel betting in horse racing. No action has been taken on this bill, but you can check out our Oklahoma betting page to learn more.

Missouri is also in the initial stages of looking at sports betting. In January of 2018 a bill was introduced to allow riverboat casinos and daily fantasy companies to allow sports betting, but no action was taken. A number of other sports betting bills were introduced in January of 2019, so it’s still a wait and see approach to sports betting in Missouri.

All of that said, the legal sportsbooks that have launched in New Jersey and other states have left a lot to be desired with low limits, unfair odds and extremely poor customer service. In the near future it is definitely still better to play at established offshore betting sites like the ones outlined above, even in states with sports betting legislation.

UFC Betting Options

There are a variety of bets you can make on each UFC fight, but the most common wager by far is simply wagering on which athlete will win the fight.

Here’s an example of the odds from the Israel Adesanya vs Yoel Romero odds from UFC 248:

In this example, Adesanya is a big favorite at odds of -265. This means you would have to risk $265 to win $100 betting on Adesanya. Yoel Romero is a +205 underdog, so a $100 bet on Silva would win $205.

The ’13 >’ you see in the screenshot above indicates that there are 13 other prop bets you can make for the Adesanya vs Romero fight. These include total rounds (over/under 2.5 rounds), method of victory, round betting and more.

Here’s a look at the method of victory odds, which is my personal favorite prop to bet:

The odds indicate that Adesanya is expected to win, but whether he wins via a finish or a decision the odds are fairly similar. The odds are +160 for Adesanya to win inside distance, which means you would have to bet $100 to win $160 on Adesanya to finish Romero.
