March is the month of heavyweight title fights in the boxing world. The month kicked off with Deontay Wilder defending his WBC heavyweight title with a 10th round TKO of Luis Ortiz, and to now to end the month we have Anthony Joshua back in the ring to defend his WBA (Super), IBF and IBO heavyweight title against Joseph Parker.
Wilder did his part early in the month and Joshua is a big favorite to also get his hand raised and hopefully set up a huge fight between the two undefeated heavyweights.

Joshua is a huge favorite in this fight, but rightfully so. This is a massive step up in competition for the New Zealander, but at 24-0 he still definitely earned this shot.
My Pick
I think the odds are very accurate for this fight. I do think that the power of Joshua will eventually get the better of Parker, but I also believe Parker has the technical ability to win rounds in this fight. If he can survive to a decision it’s really anyone’s guess who will have their arm raised. That said, Joshua has never been to a decision for a reason. He can generally figure guys out and find a way to put them on the canvas. For this reason I have to lean Joshua, but there is definitely that small chance that Parker can win if he survives and puts in 12 smart rounds.
