The 2019 Oscar nominations are in and the odds are available for anyone interested in betting on this years Academy Awards. The 2019 edition of the awards show is set to take place on February 24th, and for the first time in 30 years the Oscars will not have an official host. With Kevin Hart dropping out of his hosting duties due to controversy surrounding some old tweets, the Oscars decided to go with no host and instead rely on the award presenters to carry the show.
On this page I will show the odds for some of the major categories, and also provide a simple 3 step guide to betting on the awards if you live in in America.

Bovada is the best sportsbook for Americans looking to bet on the Oscars this year. All of the odds below were taken from the Bovada sportsbook in early-February. I suggest checking on Bovada.lv for yourself to see the updated odds. You can find the Oscars on the Bovada sportsbook page by clicking on ‘Entertainment’ in the ‘All Sports’ section.
Roma is the favorite to win the coveted best picture award, but Green Book is also being given legitimate chances to win the award according to the odds. Roma is director Alfonso Cuarón’s newest film and it seems to be the type of film that would generally win this category.
According to the odds it seems like Rami Malek is close to a sure thing to win the Best Actor award this year for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody. That said, the body transformation alone that Christian Bale had to go through to play Dick Cheney in Vice gives him a decent shot himself at odds of +200.
Glenn Close is a big time -500 favorite for her role in The Wife. Olivia Colman and Lady Gaga are being given an outside chance, but I think this category is pretty well decided.
To see the odds for all of the other categories head over to Bovada.lv and select ‘Entertainment’ after opening up the ‘All Sports’ categories.
