The 2020 Preakness Stakes was postponed from it’s originally scheduled date on the third Saturday of May, to this coming Saturday October 3rd. The race was also pushed back to the third leg of the Triple Crown after the Belmont Stakes went ahead on it’s original date in June, which resulted in the Belmont being bumped to the first leg. Tiz the Law won the Belmont Stakes and looked primed to head into the Preakness with a shot at the Triple Crown, but he could not catch Authentic down the stretch at the Kentucky Derby, ending the Triple Crown threat for this year.
Even without the possibility of a Triple Crown, this weekends Preakness Stakes is still a prestigious race with a strong field, including Kentucky Derby winner Authentic. We are in for an exciting race on Saturday.
In this article, I’ll look at the morning line odds for the Preakness Stakes and also give you a step by step guide to betting on the Preakness Stakes this year.
