How To Bet On Conor vs Khabib Fight in the USA

Update: It’s Fight Day!  Both McGregor and Khabib made weight yesterday and they are set to do battle in about 12 hours.  The biggest event in UFC history is on track!

Conor McGregor, the biggest star in the history of the UFC, is set to step back into the octagon this coming Saturday after a two year hiatus to pursue the massive money fight with Floyd Mayweather that happened last summer.  Conor will be looking to get his UFC lightweight belt back from Khabib Nurmagomedov, who won the vacant title back in April, after the UFC decided to strip Conor of the belt due to inactivity.  Khabib is a massive star in his own right and this fight is trending to be the biggest fight in UFC history.

Conor already owns the top 3 spots on the UFC PPV buy list thanks to his two fights with Nate Diaz and his win over Eddie Alvarez to become a two division champ.  The rematch with Nate did 1.6 million buys, but there is talk that this fight with Khabib could smash that record.  Time will tell just how well UFC 229 does from a numbers standpoint, but heading into the fight you cannot debate that this fight is absolutely massive.

The McGregor vs Mayweather boxing match last year was bet on more than the Super Bowl, and although I’m not expecting quite as much betting action on this fight, this will still be one of the biggest betting events of the year.  For this reason I wanted to create this tutorial to provide guide to help Americans bet on this Conor vs Khabib fight online in 3 simple steps.

Where To Bet

Sports betting is legal in more than 35 US states plus Washington, D.C., where licensed sportsbooks such as DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM operate. You must be 21 or older in most states and physically located in a state where the sportsbook is licensed.

In states without legal sports betting, options include prediction markets such as Kalshi and Polymarket, daily fantasy sports apps, and offshore sportsbooks, which accept US customers but are not licensed or regulated by any state. Our guide to sports betting in the USA breaks down every option.

Conor vs Khabib Odds

Here are the current odds for the fight from BetOnline.ag (from October 6th):

**These odds could change as we get closer to the fight.  Conor opened closer to +165 before being bet down to +125 and then leveling out around +150 for the past few weeks.  I expected some late money to come in on Conor, but his odds have continued to lengthen leading up to the fight.
