The unofficial fifth major of the PGA season takes place this week at TPC Sawgrass golf course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The Players Championship brings out all of the best players each year vying for a share of the massive $20 million prize pool (largest single tournament prize pool in golf) and the three year invitations to all of the majors given to the winner of the tournament.
The Players Championship is always the most bet on golf tournament here in the United States, outside of the four majors, and with several top golfers in great form heading into this years tourney it’s really anyone’s guess as to who will win the 2022 Players, which is a great betting environment.
Follow the three steps I’ve outlined below to get your bets placed on The Players Championship online at our top rated betting site for Americans, BetOnline.ag.
How To Bet On The Players from the United States
Follow this three step guide to get your bets in on the 2022 Players Championship.
Step 1. Open an Account at BetOnline.ag
The first step is to open an online betting account. BetOnline is our top rated betting site for Americans. They accept players from around the world, but the main focus of their sportsbook is on their American customers. This shows through in their bet offerings, deposit options and customer support.
BetOnline is currently offering a 50% matching bonus up to $1000 on all first time deposits. Check out our full review here.
Click here to visit BetOnline.ag, select ‘Join Now’ on the home page and fill out the short form to create your account.
Step 2. Deposit
BetOnline accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, bitcoin, Skrill, Neteller and bank wire deposits.
Like I said above your first deposit will be matched at a rate of 50% up to a maximum of $1000 if you opt-in to the bonus in the cashier.
You can cash out your winnings through any of the cryptocurrencies, Skrill, Neteller, bank wire or courier check.
Step 3. Place Your Players Championship Bets
Now it’s time to place your bets.
Once on the BetOnline Sports page click on the ‘Golf’ drop down menu and select ‘Futures’ -> ‘THE PLAYERS Championship’. This is where you will find the outright winner odds for the tournament. Here’s a screenshot showing the odds for the favorites at the time of this article (odds taken on March 7th):
As you can see Jon Rahm is the favorite at 12/1, but these are long odds for a favorite, which indicates it really is anyone’s tournament to win this year. I only included the golfers with odds of 25/1 or better in the screenshot above. To see the full list head to BetOnline.ag.
There are also a wide variety of props you can bet on leading into the tournament by selecting ‘Round Leader’, ‘Top 5’, ‘Top 10’, etc under the ‘Golf’ drop down menu.
I also suggest checking out our golf betting section for a further breakdown of the various bets you can make on the tournament.
